Education empowers us all, granting the courage, knowledge, and wisdom to confront and control our life circumstances and to transform society. For children to be successfully educated, we must strive to remove the blinders of stereotypes, monocultural instructional methodologies, ignorance, social distance, biased research, and racism. We must work for the children, not against them. I will always maintain the mindset of considering what is in the best interest of the children I am teaching, and I will always remember that every child is different. Therefore, I must be able to adapt to the individual needs of each child. No child will be held in higher regard than another, and every child will have the opportunity to learn. Every child is capable of making music; for some, it may be more challenging than for others, but everyone has the ability. My role as a music educator is to enable every individual who enters my classroom to succeed.
I'm thrilled that you're interested in taking lessons! No matter what stage of life you're at, everyone is capable of learning to play an instrument; it's never too late to start lessons! Below is some general information about taking lessons with me. Currently, I offer private lessons on violin and viola. If you have any further questions, please feel free to send me an email.

While technology has opened many doors to different learning formats, I firmly believe that violin/viola lessons are the most beneficial when conducted in person. However, if illness becomes a concern for your family during our time together, I have established studio policies to ensure that your students can still benefit fully from their lessons. If you'd like to learn more about my studio policies, you can find my studio handbook below.
